My window system is window XP. Why are my websites(concrete pump, drilling rig) display different in IE and firefox ?

that will be because IE generally have their own interpretation of html code and unless your web developers cross browser test and use html strict code they will show differences.

First and foremost its Microsoft's fault for designing rubbish browsers but its a well known fact when designing websites so it should have been accounted for and corrected by your developers.
